To keep the ordering process fair and consistent, this page explains all policies related to shipping, returns, custom orders, deposits, and payment plans. By purchasing from Rugged Earth, you agree to the policies listed here.

Custom Work
50% deposit is required and is non‑refundable. This covers materials, design time, and the start of production.
Handmade variation is expected. No two pieces will be identical; proportions and details may vary slightly due to the nature of handcrafted work.
Refunds are only considered for true design . This includes using the wrong components, incorrect configuration, or deviating from the approved design in a significant way.
Installment plans must be completed in full. If a customer stops making payments or chooses not to continue, all previous payments are non‑refundable.
Work does not begin and items do not ship until all installments are paid. This protects both parties and ensures no loss if payments are not completed.
I will always do my best to match the approved design. Slight differences are normal, but accuracy and communication are a priority. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute after agreeing to these terms is considered a violation of this policy. Any customer who files a chargeback forfeits the right to future purchases. Documentation, invoices, and written agreements will be provided to dispute fraudulent chargebacks. -
Shipping Policy
Orders ship within 2–5 business days unless otherwise noted. During holidays, severe weather, or other unexpected delays, processing times may be extended.
Shipping & Insurance
All orders over $300 are automatically insured at no additional cost to you. Once a package has been handed over to the carrier, it is no longer within my control. Any delays, damages, or issues that occur in transit must be handled directly with the shipping carrier.Address Accuracy
Please double‑check your shipping address before completing your purchase. If you use PayPal or another payment method with a pre‑saved address, the order will ship to the address provided at checkout. I am not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect or outdated address, and I am unable to reroute or replace orders shipped to the wrong address due to customer error. -
Sizing Policy
Please ensure your size is accurate before purchasing. I do not offer refunds or exchanges for items that do not fit due to incorrect sizing provided by the customer.
Sizing must be confirmed prior to purchase. I strongly recommend being professionally sized by a jeweler for the most accurate measurement.
All sales are final. Because each piece is handmade to order, I cannot remake or refund items due to sizing errors.
